Soon back in Hamburg: Tarzan Swings Again! ๐ŸŒด๐ŸŽถ

The record-breaking musical Tarzan, packed with iconic hits by Phil Collins ๐Ÿฅ๐ŸŽค, will soon swinging through the trees again in Hamburg. Itโ€™s a thrilling, high-energy production that has captivated audiences across Germany and beyond. But behind the jungle vines and soaring melodies lies a world of meticulously crafted props and custom-made set pieces and thatโ€™s where we come in. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธโœจ

At Prop-Art, weโ€™re proud to supply Stage Entertainment with some of the most eye-catching elements of the Tarzan universe - from intricate jungle foliage to atmospheric set features. But perhaps the most charming (and surprisingly technical!) part of our contribution? The Tarzan baby.

Yes, We Also Make Babies. Jungle Babies, That Is. ๐Ÿ’
Weighing just under 2 kilograms, the Tarzan baby has become something of a backstage legend. Soft, floppy, and above all adorable ๐Ÿ˜. This prop plays a critical role in the storytelling. Heโ€™s cradled, carried, and even tossed mid-air during key scenes, so he needs to be both safe and visually convincing under the spotlight.

Each baby is carefully constructed with flexible joints and a soft body core to allow realistic movement. Once we pop in the eyes and place that tiny little jungle wig on his head, he comes to life. Almost.

Itโ€™s this level of detail and care that sets our work apart. Whether itโ€™s a full-scale jungle set or a newborn gorilla baby, we ensure every element is performance-ready, durable, and theatrically compelling. ๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ”ง

From Stuttgart to Hamburg and beyond ๐Ÿšš๐ŸŒ

We love seeing our props on stage, especially in long-running shows like Tarzan, where they become part of the magic night after night.
